之前看惯了迈克摩尔的纪录片以为会是同一种调调，美国法制进程就是靠着Pat Tillman这样的事迹来一点点推动的。不否认每个国家都会有混蛋的政客，但允许发出独立理性的声音这一点永远值得尊敬。不像之前看的《西孟菲斯》，本片算是有理有据结构紧凑
原谅我对这个片的最深印象就是那个在精神上完满的家庭，也许pat的父母是离异了，也许他青梅竹马的妻子最后会改嫁，也许他的兄弟会因为他的死抑郁一辈子，也许他的母亲内心深处还是无法move on，但这都不妨碍这个美国家庭的完满，他们是有纪律有良知的，他们是团结的。
因为Tillman是明星，所以他低调入伍，还是免不了被政府盯上了。而他的死成为了最好的塑造英雄形象的机会。违反了他个人和他家人的意愿，他的死被政客们利用，变成了爱国宣传，推销战争的机会了。纪录片感人之处在于Tillman的人格魅力，以及家人亲人之间的情感。
